- It is a parasitic flatworm, stealing nutrients from the host
- It is hermaphroditic, meaning it has both male and female sex organs.
How it happens
- Proglottids on a tapeworm have male and female cells
- Tapeworms will fertilize themselves and release eggs into their host
- The eggs will hatch and spread throughout the host's body, spread throughout the body and transported through waste.
